A newsletter on progress-space research and audience development for cultural leaders. One reader calls it, "sometimes funny"

A person who appears to be "engaged" may not be making progress toward their goal.

Gif of a person sitting on a bench in a museum looking at a painting. An employee steps into the frame and thinks, "He's been staring at that painting all day." The employee approaches the man, who we can only see from behind, and taps him on the shoulder, saying, "Excuse me, sir." The man falls over on the bench, his skin is gray and it appears he's been dead for some time. The employee waits for a moment and says, "Did you know that you're our most engaged visitor?"
